Polymer extrusion is a process in which a polymer is melted and forced through a die/mandrel to produce a desired shape. It is a high-speed, low-cost method to produce polymer tubing used in medical device applications.

Accellent offers a broad range of materials and sizes in a variety of constructions including single lumen, multi-lumen, co-extrusion and wire reinforcement. Combined with our in-house film cast capabilities, extrusion contributes to Accellent's vast array of material combination offerings to serve your product needs.
