Wire Forming
In wire forming, precision drawn, and straightened or precision ground straight wires are mechanically cold worked to impart flats, angular bends or radiused bends. Wire formed distal curve shapes are important features to aid navigation for the distal end of guide wire devices and can impart tip flexibility for device movement in one plane while simultaneously stiffening another plane.
